Mobile operating systems¶
In this section, you can select mobile browsers for which flamingo engine will be used. That is, if a user opens your site in the selected browser, the flamingo engine will be used to render the site.
iOS
Specify browsers for iOS.
Safari or compatible
Use flamingo to render sites only for Safari and compatible browsers.
Android
Specify browsers for Android.
Google Chrome or compatible
Use flamingo to render sites only for Google Chrome and compatible browsers.
Firefox OS
Specify browsers for Firefox OS.
Firefox
Use flamingo to render sites only for Firefox.
Note
This option is available only for template-based projects.
Devices¶
In this section, you can select mobile devices for which flamingo engine will be used. That is, if a user opens your site on the selected device, the flamingo engine will be used to render the site.
Device Type
Select the device type.
Smartphones
Use flamingo to render sites only for smpartphones.
Tablets
Use flamingo to render sites only for tablets.
Desktop browsers
Show/hide parameters for desktop browsers.
Desktop operating systems¶
In this section, you can select desktop browsers for which flamingo engine will be used. That is, if a user opens your site in the selected browser, the flamingo engine will be used to render the site.
Windows
Specify browsers for Windows.
Toggle All
Select all browsers.
Internet Explorer 10+
Use flamingo to render sites for Internet Explorer 10 and higher.
Edge
Use flamingo to render sites for Edge.
Google Chrome
Use flamingo to render sites for Google Chrome.
Firefox
Use flamingo to render sites for Firefox.
OSX
Specify browsers for OSX.
Toggle All
Select all browsers.
Safari
Use flamingo to render sites for Safari.
Google Chrome
Use flamingo to render sites for Google Chrome.
Firefox
Use flamingo to render sites for Firefox.
Crawler
Specify crawler.
Googlebot
The Googlebot crawler.
For rendered template-based projects Googlebot acts as a mobile device user agent, so templates work correctly and Google does not see pages converted by flamingo. For the original desktop version of such sites you need to update the flamingo switcher code used in your project.
Note
You can specify multiple mobile and desktop browsers, and device types.
Other settings¶
Use external switcher code
Use external switcher code for the project. This option allows reducing the size of the switcher code that should be added to the site.
Show loader on flamingo processing
Add a loader when flamingo engine is processing the page. Use this option when you know that processing and loading site pages may take some time.
Add back to mobile version button on desktop website version
Add button for opening desktop site when viewing mobile site and vise versa. Use this option to automatically add a button to open mobile/desktop site version on each page.
Note
This option is available only for template-based projects.
